Are you an Arts undergraduate student at McGill? Have you worked on or are currently working on independent or professor-supervised research? Are you interested in engaging with students in all areas of the Arts faculty on an academic level? Then APPRS is for you!
The Arts Peer-to-Peer Research Symposium (APPRS) is a new initiative, transforming the former Social Science Research Symposium (SSRS) and opening it up to the entire Arts Faculty. Peer-to-Peer will be taking place on February 3–5, 2015. The event will provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to present their research and engage in academic conversation with other students throughout the faculty. The APPRS is open to all Arts departments—diversity is encouraged.
Presentations will be 20-30 minutes long followed by a question period and reception. The application can be found here and is due by Friday, November 28, 2014. Please email apprs.exec@gmail.com with any questions or to join the listserv.
We hope to hear from you! The APPRS provides a valuable learning experience for public speaking and an opportunity to get feedback on your work from your peers.
